Eligibility Criteria
Let’s move on and talk about the eligibility criteria first because to join the Aghosh program, it is necessary to first meet the eligibility criteria. Women who want to benefit from this program must first complete these conditions.
Only pregnant women, lactating mothers, or mothers of children up to two years of age can join this program. In addition, the applicant woman must belong to one of the 13 selected districts of Punjab, the details of which have been provided earlier. For further clarification, these districts are Bahawalpur, Muzaffargarh, Kot Addo, Bhakkar, Dera Ghazi Khan, Mianwali, Rahim Yar Khan, Rajanpur, Khushab, Layyah, Bahawalnagar, Lodhran, and Taunsa Sharif. In addition, the applicant woman must have a valid Pakistani identity card. If we talk about medical documents, pregnant women must have proof of pregnancy, lactation, or childbirth so that they can get financial assistance under this program.
Procedure For Completing Registration In The Aghosh Program
Women who meet all the eligibility criteria mentioned above can easily complete their registration by following a few simple steps. When it comes to the registration process, the Punjab government has introduced only one method for it, which is not online. Therefore, women who think that they can get their registration done from home should clear this misconception.
To complete the registration, women will have to visit their nearest BHUS (Basic Health Unit), RHCS (Rural Health Center), or LHVS (Lady Health Visitor) center. It should be remembered that for registration, women must have a national identity card, mobile number, and proof of pregnancy or childbirth.
